Questioning if Fixing the Exchange Rate is the Optimal Inflation Solution

The strong empirical correlation between stable exchange rates and low inflation does not automatically mean that fixing the exchange rate is the best policy for resolving an inflation problem. This observation raises a critical policy question: one must carefully consider whether this approach is truly the most effective solution, as it may not be the optimal strategy for all economies.
