Recommendations: Students given PPE at all times, clear information on how work in the hospital will affect a student’s graduation/training, assessing students’ skills before work, planning the where and how long of student placements, monitoring student’s well-being, providing mental health support, supporting students who do not wish to participate, think ahead for unforeseen events affecting students, supporting students in health emergencies, clear legal responsibilities for student health.
