Comparing Graphical Slopes to Determine Relative MRS and MRT

The relative magnitudes of the Marginal Rate of Substitution (MRS) and the Marginal Rate of Transformation (MRT) can be determined by visually comparing the slopes of the indifference curve and the feasible frontier at a specific point. If the feasible frontier is steeper than the indifference curve, it signifies that the MRT is greater than the MRS. Conversely, a flatter feasible frontier relative to the indifference curve indicates that the MRT is less than the MRS.
