Results of Studies on Behavioral Distinctions of Those with Schizophrenia

According to a 1997 study done with Stuve et al, eye tracking measurements are abnormal in those with schizophrenia. Specifically, these individuals used rapid and jerky movements to follow a moving target instead of smooth ones.

This finding suggests that schizophrenia may have an associated endophenotype.
