Short Answer

Risk and Scale in Film Production

A small independent film studio and a large, established blockbuster studio both produce a new film. Both films have very high initial creation costs and very low per-viewer distribution costs. If both films unexpectedly fail to attract a large audience, explain why the large studio is generally in a better position to financially survive this failure compared to the small studio. Base your explanation on the nature of these two types of costs.
