Schalk's Recommendations for How Non-Profits and Social Justice Organizations to Interact with Disbaility
Schalk offers three tactics as suggestions for social justice and nonprofit groups to protest injustice and violence without making disability a symbol of oppression and fighting for concrete efforts to support those already disabled by structural oppression:

- emphasizing how multiple social justice issues are inherently intertwined
- fighting for and offering concrete support to those disabled by violence and oppression
