The is a bidirectional positive relationships between self esteem and social relationship satisfaction. Higher self esteem is linked with higher relationships satisfaction and higher levels of relationship satisfaction is linked to higher self esteem. It has been shown that the influence of social relationship satisfaction on self esteem is greater than the effect self esteem has on relationship satisfaction.
