Self-Interested Preferences in the Angela-Bruno Model

A foundational assumption of the Angela-Bruno model is that both actors are entirely self-interested. This means their preferences are determined solely by their own outcomes—Angela cares only about her own consumption of grain and amount of free time, while Bruno cares only about the amount of grain he receives. Neither considers the well-being of the other when making decisions.
