Drug-induce pulmonary arterial hypertension has been found to be higher in female methamphetamine users In contrast, male users were found to suffer from a higher prevalence of methamphetamine-associated cardiomyopathy, hypertension, severe stenosis, myocyte hypertrophy, and interstitial fibrosis.
