Significance Correlation with HADS and PVDS

Concurrent validity, or evidence that can be gathered to defend the use of a test for predicting other outcomes, was supported as there was significant correlation between the result from the 7 items and the HADS and PVDS results:

  • depression: r = 0.425, p < 0.001
  • anxiety: r = 0.511, p < 0.001
  • perceived infectability: r = 0.483, p < 0.001
  • germ aversion: r = 0.459, p < 0.001
