Signs and symptoms of nongonococcal urethritis
Often people with nongonococcal urethritis are asymptomatic and do not know they carry the disease. But common symptoms are:
- purulent discharge
- dysuria
When left untreated, nongonococcal urethritis can cause:
- Pelvic inflammatory disease
- salpingitis
- epididymitis
- prostatitis
