Researchers without ID who contribute to inclusive research aim to achieve publication or may simply be doing it because it is a requirement for funding. Yet there is a lack of protocol for how these researchers should treat their coresearchers with disabilities. Individuals with ID are vulnerable to maltreatment and they may have a misunderstanding of their role in research. It is no surprise that there are accusations of dishonest intentions.
