Sleep Paralysis
A state during the transition to or from sleep, where the ability to move or talk is temporarily lost. A common symptom of narcolepsy. May be accompanied with hallucinations. Only lasts a few minutes, and may be resultant from the pontine center continuing to impose paralysis after the person wakes from an REM episode.
