Stage 3: Interpersonal

The third stage of Kohlberg's theory, the Interpersonal stage, is the first part of conventional morality. At this stage, an individual's behavior is driven by the desire for social approval and to be seen as a 'good' person by others. Moral decisions are heavily influenced by conforming to social expectations and maintaining good relationships.
