Definition of Structural Unemployment in the WS-PS Model

Structural unemployment is the level of unemployment that exists when the supply side of the economy is in equilibrium. Within the wage-setting (WS) and price-setting (PS) model, this corresponds to the specific unemployment level at which the price-setting real wage equals the wage-setting real wage. This equilibrium point is also considered a Nash equilibrium.
