Primatology is the study of the anatomy, behavior, ecology, and genetics of living and extinct nonhuman primates. 

Primatology

Paleoanthropology studies human ancestors from the distant past and their evolution. The focus of this subdiscipline is to understand the early development of modern humans, or hominization, through the reconstruction of evolutionary kinship within the family Hominidae. Anthropologists study biological evidence, including skeletal remains, bone fragments, and footprints. They also study cultural evidence, for instance, stone tools, artifacts, and settlements. 

Paleoanthropology

Molecular Anthropology studies molecular techniques to understand human evolution and how human biology is impacted by their environment, nutrition, and culture. These anthropologists also examine and compare evolutionary traits between ancient and modern humans and hominin ancestors. 

Molecular Anthropology/Genetic Anthropology 

Study of human remains from archaeological sites. These anthropologists analyze and study the past and present evolution of Homo Sapiens and attempt to understand the causes of present human diversity.
