Rather than disputing the claims regarding the violation of the law, T-Mobile submitted a request to reduce the $819,000 USD forfeiture. They requested it be reduced by 50% and the reasoning they provided was that the fine was inequitable, the commission must consider how T-Mobile asserts they are “a leader in the disabilities access arena”, and how the company “made a good faith effort to comply” prior to the investigation. The request was ultimately denied.
