The Allegory of the Blind Man and the Jewel in the Hadiqat al-Haqiqah
This allegory illustrates that the value of a spiritual 'jewel' is only recognizable to those with 'the jewel of the eye' (insight). The blind man's choice of bread and fish over a gemstone represents the focus on material survival by those lacking spiritual perception. Sanai uses this to argue that divine truth remains hidden to those without the inner capacity to perceive it.
