In Section 2 of Attar's Mosibat Nameh, an allegory is presented of a disciple who constantly recites the names of God. A wise Sheikh corrects him by stating that, in ultimate reality, God has no name. The Sheikh explains that whatever the human mind can conceive, name, or comprehend is inherently not God. Through metaphors of drops of water and the vast ocean, the poem illustrates the ineffability of the Divine and warns against the illusion that limited human capacity can truly encompass or define God's essence.
