In Section 77 of Hadiqat al-Haqiqah, Sanaee uses the allegory of a colt (korreh) that remains wild and useless unless it undergoes discipline (riyadat) under a trainer (ra'ed). While a trained horse is adorned with gold and fits kings, an untrained colt is worse than a donkey, carrying heavy loads for mills in misery. Sanaee applies this to human spiritual development, arguing that without self-discipline and training, humans remain raw, are compared to cattle (in reference to the Quranic verse 7:179), and become fuel for hellfire.
