The Chronicles of Narnia is a 7-book fantasy series written by British author C. S. Lewis. For the most part, the protagonists are children from the real world (World War II-era England, for example) who are magically transported to Narnia, where they are often tasked with helping the wise lion Aslan to protect Narnia from evil.
