In Section 3 of Silsilat al-Dhahab (within Jami's Haft Awrang), Jami describes the Muhaimin angels as a celestial order eternally intoxicated by divine love and completely absorbed in witnessing the beauty of the Divine Truth. These angels are oblivious to both themselves and the rest of creation. Jami draws a significant parallel to human mystics who share in this state: while their physical bodies are engaged in constant spiritual struggle (mujahadah), their souls are lost in contemplation (mushahadah), utterly detached from both worlds and oriented entirely toward the Divine.
