1. The Cosmological Argument (from Contingency and Regression): It posits that contingent worldly effects (athar) do not exist by themselves and therefore require a Creator (mu'athir). Jami refutes infinite regress (tasalsul) by asserting that the chain of causes must terminate in a Necessary Being (wujub).
