The sound poetic nature (طبع سلیم) weighs discourse to separate the sound (صحیح) from the flawed (سقیم), yet this balance has neither a visible scale nor a hand — God alone grants the disposition its scale and the strength of its arm. Jami then turns this gift toward its purpose: producing proofs (برهان) of the Creator, arguing that seeing the effect of the craft (صنع) is easy, so failing to reach the Craftsman (صانع) through it is ignorance.
