Conversely, the lip (لب) acts as a restorative, life-giving (جان فزا) entity. Even if the eye demands the lover's soul, it is deemed acceptable because the lip possesses the divine or miraculous capacity to grant a hundred souls in return. This juxtaposition illustrates the classic paradox of suffering and salvation in Persian mystical love literature.
