The Endless Spiritual Path and the Heart's Essence in Attar's Mokhtar Nameh (Chapter 27, Poem 20)

In Poem 20 of Chapter 27 in Attar's Mokhtar Nameh, the poet explores the paradox of the spiritual journey. Despite the heart becoming more steadfast and traversing many harsh valleys and difficult roads, the path ahead remains unbroken and infinite. This suggests a mystical paradox: because the heart is "perfect in its own essence," the external notion of a finite, traversable path dissolves, leaving the seeker in an ongoing, eternal state of spiritual progression.
