The citizens united under one flag and disregarded their sectarian affiliations. There were people of all ages, genders, religions, and sects. They believed in the country and wanted to overthrow the government. Unfortunately, they couldn't because the army is politicized and protesters were thrown tear gas at, were hit, and incarcerated. Some of them remain disappeared.
