سپهر معرفت خورشید انور 
امیرالمؤمنین کرار صفدر
امام مطلق ارباب بینش 
بدانش آفتاب آفرینش
چو او شیر حق آمد داغ حق داشت 
بمردی و جوانمردی سبق داشت
اسد چون خانهٔ خورشید باشد 
علی کالشمس ازو جاوید باشد
چو اصل اهل بیت افتاد حیدر 
بلی بایست شهر علم رادر
چو شهر علم دین پیغمبر آمد 
اگر بابیست آن را حیدر آمد
چو بیت آفتاب ذوالجلالست 
گرش شیر خدا خوانی حلالست
چنین گفت او که در دین حق تعالی 
مرا دادست در علم آن کمالی
که گردرباء بسم الله ز اسرار 
کنم تضیف بیش از ده شتروار
بهر حرف از کلام صانع پاک 
کنم هر دم هزاران معنی ادراک
چو دنیا را طلاقی داد جانش 
مگر انگشتری ماند از آنش
خداوندش یکی سایل فرستاد 
که آمد در نمازش پیش، استاد
که در دین تو دنیا بند جانست 
تو میدانی که این خاتم از آنست
چو شد زین سر عالی سرفراز او 
بسایل داد خاتم در نماز او
نمازش را چو خاتم در نگنجید 
بجز حق ذرهیی هم درنگنجید
نمازش چون حضوری معتبر داشت 
کی از پیکان برون کردن خبر داشت
کسی کو در حقیقت تشنه جانست 
که کلی سیر از کار جهانست
اگر آبیش میباید که جان خورد 
ز دست ساقی کوثر توان خورد
عزیزی کو دو چشم راه بین داشت 
سه روح ازچاریار راستین داشت
ترا از زهر بدعت گر گزندست 
همین تریاق اربع سودمندست

## English translation
The sphere of gnosis, the luminous sun,
The Commander of the Faithful, the repeated charger, the breaker of ranks.
The absolute Imam of the masters of insight,
In knowledge, the sun of creation.
Since he was the Lion of God, he bore the mark of God,
In courage and chivalry, he took the lead.
When Leo is the house of the sun,
Ali, like the sun, shall be eternal because of it.
Since Haidar was the origin of the Household,
Indeed, the city of knowledge required a gate.
Since the Prophet is the city of the knowledge of religion,
If there is a gate to it, it is Haidar.
Since he is the house of the sun of the Lord of Majesty,
If you call him the Lion of God, it is lawful.
He said thus: 'In the religion of God the Almighty,
He has given me such perfection in knowledge,
That if, from the secrets of the letter Ba of Bismillah,
I write a commentary, it would load more than ten camels.
From every letter of the speech of the Pure Creator,
I perceive thousands of meanings at every moment.'
When his soul divorced the world,
Only a ring remained to him of it.
His Lord sent a beggar to him,
Who stood before him while he was in prayer.
[Saying] 'In your religion, the world is a shackle to the soul,
You know that this signet ring is of the world.'
Since he was exalted by this sublime secret,
He gave the ring to the beggar while in his prayer.
Since a ring could not be contained in his prayer,
Not a single atom other than God was contained therein.
Since his prayer possessed a verified presence,
How could he have been aware of the pulling out of the arrow-head?
Whoever is truly thirsty in soul,
And entirely sated with the affairs of the world,
If he needs water for his soul to drink,
He can drink it from the hand of the Cupbearer of Kauthar.
The beloved one who had two path-seeing eyes,
Had three spirits from the four true companions.
If you suffer harm from the poison of heresy,
This fourfold antidote is highly beneficial.

امامی کو امامت را حسن بود 
حسن آمد که جمله حسن ظن بود
همه حسن و همه خلق و همه حلم 
همه لطف و همه جود و همه علم
زجودش هفت دریا هشت آمد 
ز شوقش نه فلک در گشت آمد
سه نور بس قوی را چارم او بود 
برای آن همه چیزش نکو بود
مربع زان سه آمد جوهر او 
مثلث دو مثنی در بر او
چو دو میراث مشکین زان سه تن داشت 
چو جان در بر ازو با خویشتن داشت
دل پر نور او دریای دین بود 
دو موی او دو شست عنبرین بود
چو در دریا فکند آن شست در راه 
بشست افتاد از ماهیش تا ماه
رخی چون روز و زلفی همچو شب داشت 
کسی کان هر دو دید الحق عجب داشت
چو آه از دل برآوردی بغم در 
در افتادی شب و روزش بهم در
شب از موی سیاهش تیره گشته 
ز رویش ماه روشن خیره گشته
لبش قایم مقام حوض کوثر 
که بودی چشمهٔ نوش پیمبر
چنان نوشی بزهر آلوده کردند 
جگر پر خون دلش پالوده کردند
ز زهرش چون جگر شد پاره پاره 
ز غصه گشت خونین سنگ خاره
دل خصمش نشد از خون جگر رنگ 
ولی از درد او خون شد دل سنگ

## English translation
An Imam who was the very beauty of the Imamate,
Hasan came, who was entirely goodwill.
All beauty, all noble character, all forbearance,
All grace, all generosity, all knowledge.
From his generosity, the seven seas became eight,
From his yearning, the nine heavens came into motion.
Of three very powerful lights, he was the fourth,
Because of that, everything about him was beautiful.
His essence became a quadrangle from those three,
A triangle and two pairs by his side.
As he held two musk-scented inheritances from those three persons,
He held them with him like a soul in his bosom.
His luminous heart was the sea of religion,
His two locks of hair were two ambergris-scented hooks.
When he cast that hook into the sea on the path,
Everything from the fish to the moon fell into his grasp.
He had a face like day and locks like night,
In truth, whoever saw both was filled with wonder.
When he drew a sigh from his heart in grief,
His night and day would fall into confusion together.
The night became dark from his black hair,
The bright moon became dazzled by his face.
His lips were the deputy of the Pool of Kauthar,
Which was the sweet fountain of the Prophet.
They poisoned such a sweet drink,
They filled his liver with blood and melted his heart.
When his liver was torn to pieces by the poison,
Out of grief, the granite stone turned bloody.
His enemy's heart did not change color from his liver's blood,
But from his pain, the heart of the stone turned to blood.
