The Parisian Language School's Reservation Wage Curve (Figure 6.10)

Figure 6.10 displays the reservation wage curve for the Parisian language school, which indicates the wage required to hire a specific number of tutors (N). The curve slopes upward because potential tutors have different reservation wages, influenced by their individual utility of unemployment. Consequently, to recruit and retain a larger number of employees, the school must offer a progressively higher wage.
