The Prophetic Primacy and Seal of Prophethood in Attar's Mosibat Nameh

In this section of the Mosibat Nameh, Farid al-Din Attar extols the supreme spiritual status of Prophet Muhammad. Attar highlights his role as the leader and guide (peshva) of all prophets, the ultimate intercessor for humanity, and the Seal of the Prophets (Khatam al-Anbiya) as signified by the phrase la nabiyya ba'di (there is no prophet after me). The verses illustrate Sufi themes of the Prophet's pre-existence and his role as the cosmic source of spiritual nourishment, depicting even the primordial Adam as a child seeking guidance on his path.
