A previously debated measuring tool that research has found to be an accurate and reliable way to measure stress and fear related to the COVID-19, resulting in different behaviors.

The instrument only contains seven items that are needed to fill out. This is beneficial to a chaotic hospital where Doctors are needed to move and assess patients quickly. It also has many different language options making it more inclusive to more neglected social populations that have a harder time accessing healthcare.

Benefits of the FCV-19S in Healthcare 

With it being shorter, the instrument is not multidimensional and has the potential to provide a less comprehensive measure of the patient's symptoms. This has lead to other researchers neglecting the measuring tool.
