The Royal Welcome and Fatherly Affection of Caesar in Section 55 of the Khosrow Nameh

In Section 55 of the Khosrow Nameh, Farid al-Din Attar depicts the emotional reunion and greeting between Caesar and Khosrow. Upon learning of Khosrow's arrival, Caesar prepares a royal reception, sending horses and robes of honor (khalat) before meeting him with an escort. The meeting is characterized by deep emotional intensity; Caesar embraces Khosrow with impatience and tears, addressing him affectionately as his son (pisar) and expressing how the pain of separation had tormented him.
