In Section 29 of Jami's Haft Awrang, the poet describes the spiritual station of the 'Companions of Revelation' (اصحاب مکاشفه). At this stage of spiritual development, the seeker perceives the multiplicity of worldly phenomena as a hundred thousand mirrors reflecting the various names and attributes of God (تجلی صفات). Every object in creation becomes a vehicle for acquiring spiritual knowledge. However, Jami notes a critical limitation of this station: although these seekers have attained the unveiling of Divine Attributes, they remain unaware of and veiled from the supreme manifestation of the Divine Essence (تجلی ذات).
