Three Stages of the Atkinson-Shiffrin Model

According to the Atkinson-Shiffrin model, for a memory to be placed into long-term storage, it must sequentially pass through three distinct stages: first Sensory Memory, then Short-Term Memory, and finally Long-Term Memory.
