Threefold Nature of Sleep Deprivation

Research measuring sleep optimization with three variables (consistency, quality, and duration) in mind found that over 25% of the variance associated with a range of chemistry test scores could be attributed to these factors. The implications of this study drew a strong correlation between these two variables, enough so to conclude that three measures of sleep need to be optimized in order to ensure positive results. A good night’s rest on one night during the week is not enough to reap the benefit of heightened performance, and the same applies for the other traits mentioned in the study.
