Positive relationship between followers on Twitter of author and citation count of papers

- while papers from authors that do not use Twitter are slightly less cited than papers from authors that do use Twitter, the t-test showed the difference to be not significant
- using regression to look at the relationship between Twitter activity metrics and citation numbers, it was found that only followers per month impact citation numbers
