To be or not to be on Twitter, and its relationship with the tweeting and citation of research papers results: citations vs tweets
- while papers from authors that do not use Twitter are slightly less cited than papers from authors that do use Twitter, the t-test showed the difference to be not significant
- using regression to look at the relationship between Twitter activity metrics and citation numbers, it was found that only followers per month impact citation numbers
