Vertical Asymptote of the Graph of a Logarithmic Function

The graph of a basic logarithmic function y=logaxy = \log_a x features a vertical asymptote located exactly at the yy-axis, which is mathematically represented by the vertical line equation x=0x = 0. As the input values approach zero from the right, the curve of the graph approaches this vertical line extremely closely, but it will never actually touch or cross it.
