Virtual Reality for Social Anxiety Disorder
Virtual reality offers an immersive and controlled environment for the assessment and treatment of social anxiety disorder. Virtual reality exposure therapies have shown effective results for improving symptoms post treatment in comparison to control groups like in vivo exposure therapy. However, use of virtual reality for assessment of social anxiety disorder is less reliable and valid.
