- Charlton McIlwain states that automated criminal justice information systems target Black people through predictive policing, facial recognition technology, and risk-scoring systems.
- MCllwain states that if more people pursued Wilkin's ideas, we'd be in a different place today.

Overall, I think there needs to be more awareness around mental health care in hospitals and healthcare settings. Staff in healthcare settings should understand why mental health treatments are essential and the consequences of not receiving treatment, especially when ECT can treat symptoms of a severe mental disability.

Outpatient and patient treatments should be prioritized too - if these clients do not have supervision it could lead to symptom exacerbation. Telemedicine could also be used more, but the issue of clients who may not have equitable access to technology often comes up. Clinical ethicists, if they had been more involved, could have advocated for more client resources.
