Work Application

A work application is a type of word problem that involves two or more individuals or machines working together to complete a single job. The core quantities involved in these scenarios are the time it would take each entity to complete the job working alone, and the time it would take them to complete the job when working together. A key principle of work applications is that it should take less time for two entities to complete a job working together than for either one to do it alone.
