Workplace Conduct Analysis
A company manager consistently assigns an employee, who is a devout follower of a minority religion, to work shifts on the day of their faith's most significant weekly observance, despite the employee's repeated requests for accommodation. When the employee raises the issue, the manager states, 'We all have to make sacrifices; your beliefs don't make you special here.' Other employees are not subjected to similar, inflexible scheduling. Based on this scenario, determine if a form of illegal workplace harassment has occurred and explain your reasoning.
