Activity (Process)

Written Follow-Up for Electrical Scope Changes

After the customer decides how to proceed, record the agreement in writing by text, email, or a signed change order before extra work begins. The written record protects the customer by showing what was approved and protects the contractor by documenting that the added work was authorized. It also closes the communication loop and gives the project file a clear record of the scope change.
