Giving Customers Real Choices After an Unexpected Jobsite Issue

Once the contractor explains the problem and why it matters, the next step is to offer at least two workable paths so the customer can decide how to proceed. One option can solve it right away while access is already available, and another can postpone the work and return later with a separate visit. The contractor should also give a clear recommendation with a brief reason, then finish with an open invitation such as, "What questions can I answer so you can choose the option that fits your needs?" This approach lowers tension because the customer is informed, not cornered, and still has control over the decision.
