Academic Stressors for Online Learning

According to the article "Online Learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic and Academic Stress in University Students", students were primarily focused on how classes would be structured, especially how final exams would be conducted and graded. Concerns about the internet connection and learning how to use online platforms were also an issue. In a period where using the internet is a major asset, the question of internet accessibility is a problem, since certain students may face inequalities based on their location, which may not provide adequate internet speed. The potential for an increase in class assignments and homework was also listed. There are further concerns listed by a minority of the students asked, suggesting that, throughout the school year and especially the period between semesters, the question of addressing potential problems with online learning must constantly be addressed, especially since it seems online learning must continue to be a necessity during the pandemic.
