The article regarding academic stress in university students during the pandemic raised the concern that students had regarding how exams would work in online learning. Some of the students taking the questionnaire even answered that they wondered if exams were necessary for this style of education. It is an open question as to how exams should be conducted, assuming that they are necessary. Looking at other classes, some provide exams through online tools such as the school platform that also provides course materials for the class. Others provide assignments that substitute the need for exams. It's unknown if exams can be satisfactorily administered to students through digital platforms, in such a way that they are comparable in quality to exams distributed in face-to-face classes.
