Phase 3 evaluated action plans using both online and lab-based methods. In the online study, crowd workers acting as proxies for Wikipedia editors reviewed a random sample of 100 comments (from a dataset of 768). They ranked the original comment, unstructured plans, and vocabulary plans by preference and explained their rankings. In the lab study, interns answered the same evaluation questions to rank 12 comments and corresponding action plans created by their mentors.
