Developmental Delays and Seeking Professional Advice

A developmental delay is indicated when a child does not achieve a milestone within the expected age range, such as a baby not holding their head up by 4 months. The presence of delays across several milestones is a significant reason for concern. In such situations, it is recommended that the parent or caregiver consult with the child’s pediatrician to discuss these concerns.
