Short Answer

Analyzing a Bargaining Outcome

In a one-time, anonymous interaction, one person is given $100 and must propose a split with a second person. The second person can accept the offer (both get the proposed amounts) or reject it (both get $0). If the first person proposes to keep $90 and give the second person $10, explain why the second person might reject this offer, even though rejecting means they receive $0 instead of $10.
