Concept

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is an intervention based on the principles of learning and behavior. For individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ABA therapy is often used to help them develop skills and behaviors that foster more independent and fulfilling lives. Targeted areas for improvement typically include coping mechanisms, social and communication skills, self-care, play and leisure activities, and fine and gross motor skills.
